BillBolo is a WhatsApp-based business utility that helps you create quotations, track expenses, and manage invoices. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

What Information Do We Collect?

From WhatsApp:

• Your phone number — to identify you
• Messages you send us — including voice notes, photos of bills, and descriptions of quotations
• Business details — client names, item descriptions, prices, quantities

How We Use This:

• Create professional quotations and invoices from your descriptions
• Read bill photos to extract prices and items automatically
• Convert voice notes to text
• Track your expenses

Where Is Your Data Stored?

In India (Mumbai). Your quotations, expenses, and profile information are stored securely in India.

Generated PDFs are deleted automatically after 7 days. You keep the PDF that's sent to you on WhatsApp.

Voice notes and bill photos are not saved after we process them. We only keep the extracted information.

How Is Your Data Protected?

• Encrypted: All your data is encrypted. No one can read it without permission.
• Secure servers: We use industry-standard, bank-grade cloud infrastructure with encryption at every layer.
• No sharing: We never share your data with advertisers, marketers, or third parties.
• Limited access: Only our system accesses your data. No employee can view your quotations or expenses.

Google Sheets Integration (Optional)

You choose whether to connect Google Sheets. If you do:

• We create a new sheet in your Google Drive
• We add your quotations and expenses there automatically
• You can disconnect anytime through your Google Account settings
• We only access the sheet you explicitly allow

Your Google password is never shared with us. We use a temporary access code that you control.

Payments (If You Upgrade)

If you upgrade to Pro, we use a secure third-party payment gateway to process payments. We never see your credit card or UPI details. The payment gateway handles all payment information securely.

How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

• Active account: Your data stays as long as you use BillBolo
• Generated PDFs: Automatically deleted after 7 days
• After you delete your account: Everything is deleted within 30 days
• Inactive accounts: If you don't use BillBolo for 1 year, we'll notify you before deleting data

Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data: Ask us for a copy of everything we have about you
• Delete your account: We'll erase all your data within 30 days
• Fix mistakes: If your data is wrong, we'll correct it
• Stop analytics: You can opt out of usage tracking
• Download your data: Get your quotations and expenses in CSV format

Is This Safe for My Business?

Yes. Your business information is:

• Only accessible to you
• Encrypted at all times
• Never sold or shared
• Protected by security standards used by major tech companies
